The YPFC (Young People's Film Council) was created to enable our passion as young filmmakers to develop by working with and getting support from people with a similar interest in film. Since the YPFC began in 2005 we have become a local network for young filmmakers, which has enabled ambitious projects to be undertaken in a professional atmosphere producing professional looking films.

YPFC members learn form their experience on projects and are able to pass on these skills to newer members. It is run and organised by a core group of young people who regularly meet to make it all happen. What we are looking to do now is extend this network across the county. Currently we have members in Wellington, Bridgwater, Street, Taunton and Yeovil but we would like to be accessible to more isolated areas where there are keen young film makers to recruit and form new core groups.
