The YPFC are having a film festival during the 25th & 29th February in Somerset. We need you to apply for the opportunity to organise the film festival as paid work. To be able to apply for the job you must be aged between 13-19 be enthusiastic hard working its that easy!!

Opinionated young people wanted
Mediabox is looking for confident young people who would be interested in sharing their views on TV or on the radio - such as on GMTV, BBC Breakfast News and BBC Radio Five Live.
Mediabox often gets requests for young people to speak about a range of topical issues - such as racism, internet bullying, eating disorders and gun crime. If any of the young people working on your Mediabox projects would like to be considered, please ask them to send us a brief email about themselves, including what issues they feel strongly about and why.
They will need to include their full names, ages, town and contact phone number. Email mediabox@mediatrust.org and please put "Media Interviews" as the subject heading.

BIG MEDIA SOMERSET
The Engine Room and the Young People's Film Council (YPFC) were lucky enough to receive a Media Box award giving young people in the South West the opportunity to make new creative work in media between now and March 08. We are looking for freelance filmmakers to work with us bringing mentoring and film-making skills to young people in Somerset. Big Media will run until March 08 offering groups of young people eight bursary awards with pitching events, workshops including making a film in a day, music for film, young women in film day, animation day and out of school productions. Young people have to apply for these opportunities and schools may apply. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people in Somerset and freelancers.
