The ultimate guide to Admiral Blake - Documentary
In Spring 2007 someone approached the YPFC because they were passionate about making a history documentary however they didn't know how to go about it. We also used YPFC members to crew the shoot and create some animations for the film.

Keep Your Socks Where You Can See Them - Childrens Drama
The YPFC, also in Spring 2007, teamed up with another young film group in Bath Club Flix who received funding to create a children's drama they had written a script for. The YPFC were able to support them helping to organise locations, costumes, actors and lighting to make it T.V. drama standard. This film is currently in post-production and we are aiming for it to be complete for BBC Blast.

Bursary pitching events
On the 17 th July we held the first pitching event at the Engine Room in Bridgwater Somerset. This event gave young people in Somerset the opportunity to pitch their idea to a judging panel (YPFC members) to be selected to win a bursary award. A bursary award includes a budget of £500 and 10 days paid filmmaker/mentor time. The young people had an open surgery time from 4-7 where they worked with a professional filmmaker in sessions on their pitch preparing them fro their pitch. From 7-9 pitches took place in stages, young people entered the studio in their groups and pitched to the selected judges. The judging panel consisted of 3 YPFC members.
We gave away 4 bursaries:
